A Blue Heron walks near the south shore of Pyramid lake

The pelicans are all over the south side of Pyramid Lake. The pyramid is off in the distance and the pelicans are hanging near to the shore in the foreground.

Pyramid lake is a very cool place. And in the spring you can find a water fall or two!

Burrowing Owl

Found this guy on the way to pyramid lake. It is a Burrowing Owl and makes his house out of whatever shelter he can find that already exists. This one lives in a culvert.
